Renato CarvalhoI am a graduate student in the Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning department of the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education (OISE), and in the collaborative program in the Knowledge Media Design Institute (KMDI), at the University of Toronto. After over 15 years of career as designer, mainly dedicated to information architecture, interface design, web design and digital marketing, I decided to focus on the field of educational design, mostly interested in research and develop educational technologies aiming to help developing countries to reduce their educational deficit. As part of this effort, I’m also an editor and writer in the Brazilian website Rescola, which discusses ideas and initiatives dedicated to rethinking education.
My other interests include photography, videogames, soccer, movies, and biking, and you can find me on the Internet on LinkedIn or Twitter.
