INSPIRATION: What ideas, projects or movements have you seen that make you hopeful about the future of our cities?
VISION: In what ways should we design our cities differently in order to have a sustainable future?
We should discontinue the sale and production of single-use plastics. They are incredibly harmful to the environment as it takes hundreds of years for them to decompose. Instead, we should encourage the use of reusable containers.
ACTION: What can your generation do now to bring us closer to this future?
- raise awareness on the situation
- stop the use of single-use water bottles and bring reusable water bottles
- encourage organic / pesticide-free produce
- start exploring sustainable housing (solar-powered, geothermal, etc)
- carpool, walk, ride our bikes to reduce carbon emissions and burning of fossil fuels
- NO STRAWS
